Beautiful day to start our journey. Now heading towards Cairns on the Inland WayTrip. Off to St.George today. Stopped on the side of the road to cut some
more firewood. Very tuff wood – Gidgee..(Just
missed a kangaroo hopping over the road)
Not a cloud in the sky going through Dirranbandi, Noondoo and then up to
St.George. As we arrived at St.George
there was a B Double that has lost control
and the back trailer was tipped over on it’s side. Glad we weren’t on the road when that
happened. You could see where he was all
over the road when he lost it. Scary..
Tonight we are staying at the Beadmore Dam Campsite right beside the Balonne River. Lovely spot and so far we have managed to
stay out of caravan parks and had fantastic sites right beside a river every
night.
