14th October - Camp 865…..

Camped at Beadmore Dam Rest Area for 2 nights.  Great campsite, met some lovely people (Russell & Sue) traveling in a 5^th wheeler up from Cowra to Gympie.  Saw them at Dubbo, but didn’t talk to them then, it was too cold and wet to get out of the caravan....  Tonight we had happy hour with them and they were really friendly.  Put on some marinated beef tonight for dinner in the camp oven, getting better & better at Camp Oven cooking. Tomorrow we will head towards Mitchell.
